Donnie Weaver is the singer and organist on the solid gold hit, “Girl Watcher” with The O'Kaysions back in 1968. It went # 1 on the Billboard R&B charts and # 5 on the Pop charts.

Since then he has been writing, playing, singing, and producing his new music.

Donnie moved to California in 1970, and worked with Marvin Gaye, HB Barnum, James Jamerson, Joe Sample, and Myrna Smith. In Macon, Georgia, he worked with Chuck Leavell, Lamar Williams, Jimmy Nalls, Davis Causey, and Joe English. In Chicago he worked with Johnny Pate who produced the Girl Watcher album.

Each put their touch of genius on Donnie Weaver's music.
