Great songs
author: Jerry Fletcher

Quality music for families
author: Lucas Miller, the "Singing Zoologist"
Don has put together a great collection that will appeal to families that enjoy genuine, Texas music by a genuine Texas treasure. Don's been a role model and friend to me and countless other musicians for a long old time. His gentle, amiable manner shines through on these songs as does his uncompromising musicianship and production.
Blending his rock-solid songwriting and creative interpretations of existing songs, this project reminds me of the classic family recordings of the 70's & 80's. The songs have a live feel (refreshing) and it's good to hear some great traditional songs on a family record.
Great work, Don! Thanks for giving us this wonderful CD!
