During the early nineties Don Yute did a series of Dancehall hits such as "Lovin' Excess with Wayne Wonder and "Gal Yu Own De Man" on Dave Kelly's Madhouse label. "Freak Out" produced by Sly and Robbie for Island Records on the "Hail Up The Taxi" compilation and "Hardcore" on the Steelie and Cleevie label. Don Yute's versatility is appreciated abroad as well as at home in Jamaica.

In the US he has worked with accomplished producers such as Jermaine Dupree, recording the gold selling "Sexiest" and "Hardcore Wuk" with Uncle Al on the So So Def Bass All Stars Vol.1 and Vol.2 compilation series.

Don Yute is currently featured on the Billboard charts on Lil Jon and The East Side Boyz, "Put Yo Head Up" with Youngbloodz and Chyna Whyte, which is now certified gold. Don Yute has worked with mega platinum producers such as The Medicine Men formerly Beats By Da Pound, Master P's former production team. The Medicine Men produced six songs on the Win, Lose or Draw CD "Energy" a low lights dancehall ballad, "Blim Blam" for dem sexy body bad girlz, "U R So Fine" a dancehall favorite, "Hot Girl Flow" is the romantic anthem, "Over Crunk" was original produced for Snoop Doggy Dog this is the song that will definately mash up the clubs and "Walkin' Time Bomb" this is the trunk blaster, riddim driven strictly for da Reggae Dancehall and Hip Hop heads...Sly and Robbie produced "Cumbay Yah Yah" featuring Kashief Lindo,co- written by Anthony(Tony)Rochester who co-wrote some of the late great Garnett Silk's biggest hits, Don Yute and Kasief Lindo, Kamilion a young versatile producer who produced "Hold On", "War Of Stars", and "Grab De Wall" the lead single which is getting heavy rotation in the underground market (radio) it is getting mad buzz on the streets right now. The single "Grab De Wall" is going to commercial and college radio, clubs and power house DJ's for the first quarter, production also by Akon a top flight producer outta the dirty south Atlanta, features by Bounti Killa, Boom Dynamite, Tony Curtis, Askel, Christopher, Hip Hop devastating lyricist MC Billy Dymondz from da dirty south Atlanta, Carmela, Akua, Menu and Raquel Williams, Win, Lose Or Draw is laced with 19 slamming tracks for you to digest, a classic in the making, dont take my word for it treat yourself to a copy. His performances including but are not limited to Reggae Sunsplash and Sting, two of the biggest annual Reggae Concerts in Jamaica. He has appeared with Musiq on several tour dates, along with Public Announcement. His independent efforts and creative Adrenalin' album has the Latin Reggae Dancehall flavored hit single "Work That Thing" which gained heavy rotation on MTV2, Much Music, The Box, as well as many local cable television stations accross the United States and jamaica.

Yute's popularity is now on the rise gaining him faetures in some of the industry's most popular magazines such as Vibe, Fresh, Word Up and Right On. Presently Don Yute is getting requests from Hip Hop and R&B producers and artists looking for original Reggae Dancehall flava to do remixes and collaborations.

Don Yute has been blazing the musical trail. He was selected by the editors of Billboard Magazine to perform on the Heineken Star Makers New Artist Lucheon Showcase, at the 3rd annual Billboard and American Urban Radio Network R&B and Hip Hop Conference and Awards August 7-9 at The Roney Place, Miami Beach, Florida. His performance was astounding and opened doors to top flight producers and Record companies now seeking him out. Don Yute has just completed two Jazze Pha (Lil Wayne, Nappy Roots, Baby from Cash Money)produced tracks with the Atlanta rap duo ATL signed to Epic Records and female rapper Rasheeda signed to Blackground/Universal Records.
