Album Notes

Doren is an twenty-year-old singer/songwriter who has been singing and performing most of her young life. Even though she grew up in the late 90's, most of her influences are classic rock based artists such as Janis Joplin, Fleetwood Mac, Jimi Hendrix, and Jefferson Airplane. Ate the age of only thriteen, she was already making noise in
South Florida, where she was featured on Channel 7 (WSVN)and later Channel 6 (CBS) as an up and coming star. She has performed at The Hard Rock Cafe in Orlando, The Office Depot Arena and everywhere in between in the past five years. After finishing the 11th grade in 2005, she was given special permission to study away from her campus as she looked to record some new material in the Philadelphia area. She was then introduced to songwriter/producer/studio owner Stephen McKnight, and the decision was made to record an entire album with him during her senior year of high school. While recording her new album she had to also complete her required studies simultaneously, all while adjusting to a new life in the Northeast at seventeen.
Now in 2006, her debut album entitled "Twisted Garden" is sure to get her noticed, as it is an awesome mix of pop/rock songs that are classic rock influenced, but with modern production.
Orignially based out of the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area, Doren ahs now relocated to the Philadelphia area to further her career, and she is off to a great start with her new album "Twisted Garden".
