~billboard magazine

"...the graceful female vocals really caught my attention!..into experimental feilds and thats why they sound so different and more covincing.."~ sideline magazine, Belgium

walls of sound and spirals of fog

"Listen With Mother", ihre bereits dritte Veröffentlichung, dreht und kugelt einen Strom aus Psychedelica, Britpop, Indie und melodiösem Schrammelnoise zu gitarrenlastigen Soundwänden und Spiralnebeln. Diese wiederum werden von einem unüberhörbar sanften und dennoch ausdruckstarken Frauenstimmchen begleitet. Sechs Kompositionen die den Weg zu deiner Psyche auskundschaften um deine Seele behütet baumeln zu lassen. Georg Lommen 4

Girls who really know how to rock are few and far between, but the ones who hold

Girls who really know how to rock are few and far between, but the ones who hold the knowledge are not to be missed. This is a prime example of such a case. Dorian Gray’s new album, “Listen With Mother” not only brings back what long time fans love them for (rock, rock, and more rock), but also brings to the table new songs that inspire and cater to a number of any given emotions. The architect behind and in front of the amazing wall of sound is Maria Miller. Her dreamy ethereal vocals play a huge part in defining their music, along with the amazing guitar work performed by both her and Gil Petrovic, in good company with Michael Crow's relentless bass lines. Add the perfectionistic drumming of one Michael Koch and it makes one exciting piece of work that puts another marker in the timeline of Dorian Gray, a band that you’d be sorry to let pass you by.

This cd is steady and beautiful. It is luring and peacful. The vocals are intoxicating and the music is spacey. It brings to mind Catherine Wheels 1st album. I wish this band all the success! They have a fan in me!
