My name is Dorothy Jane Siver. I am from the Adirondack Mountains of Northern NY state. I am a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter. I love folk, bluegrass, country and good fiddle music. I have been touring since I was 10 yrs old and have met some wonderful people on the road. Currently I have a debut CD out called "My Journey Begins" and I am on the Ampersand Records USA label. My project is being reviewed by Bluegrass Unlimited and BMP magazines and the project has been accepted by the largest bluegrass music store in the USA, County Sales record store in Floyd, VA. I love Alison Krauss and Gillian Welch, they are inspirations to me and my music. I am constantly being supported by wonderful people; family, friends, fans and other artists who tell me to keep working and great things will happen. My dad is my bass player & my manager. He works hard everyday trying to get me more gigs and gets me to meet more great people. My mom sings harmony behind me on stage and in the studio. I absolutely love her sound. I feel so blessed to be able to play music with my mom and dad. I want to thank all you folks who have supported me in the past and thanks to the new fans who have just discovered my music.
