Album Notes

Dorsey has done his homework. Having played these songs from Turkey to China and back thru to his second home of California, He says," I wanted to make my first album a contribution to the stuff I listened to and loved growing up...Country, Rock, New-wave, Punk, Rock, and Art-Rock".

Dorsey plays all the instruments on each song, except on "What If Coke and Pepsi Was the Same Thing," which features some stunning lead guitar by long-time friend and NILE founder, Karl Sanders. Oh yeah--the drums were arranged/recorded from samples by Joey Kramer of Aerosmith, and Steve Smith of Journey...

Eclectic match-ups of style and unique lyrics make this a memorable listen--worth several listens in fact.

None of the songs are filler crap, and each one explores different territory musically...think wormwood troubabor in the jet set, romantically splashed into the crazy post-modern, with reminiscences of inspired AM, long play experimental college-radio FM, and no reverence at all to the Post-MTV politically correct world of walking on eggshells and subservience to image and profit-making pretense.
Some of the songs are artistic statements and explorations. So. Real Art. Real Music. Unpretentious Guy. Funny. Deep. Worldly. Great Price. Be There.
