with my brand new olivia newton john record and my trusty shaUn cassidy guitar (1978 vintage hardy boys gear with plastic strings), i began to make my mark on the music scene at family barbie-Qs with a fantastic *chorus only* rendition of “like a rhinestone cowboy”...
many years, and an obscene number of songs entitled “the horsey in the field” later, i'm playing a guitar made of actual wood and my songs are no longer about furry woodland creatures...mostly...but if anyone has any information on how i can score a shaun cassidy decal for my baby taylor, please let me know...(or if you have his number you could send that too)

I love this album. Favorite track? Whichever is playing now.
She has been compared to a number of other singers, but she is not a clone of anyone, she is herself, a unique talent.
Stephanie has a beautiful voice, soft but if you listen closely she also has power behind it
Stephanie is a huge talent and is going to be a big star. By the time she plays near where I live I won't be able to afford the tickets.
Why not listen to her earliest work? It is a rewarding experience.

I first saw Stephanie live as a support act for someone - totally accidentally, and have been hooked ever since. This album is beautifully put together, capturing the right elements of haunting lyrics and enchanting sound to make one of the most memorable CDs in my collection.

I am now getting into the rest of her music and am seriously impressed.
