Meet James Roy and John Troy Jacobs AKA Double Portion:

James "Roy" Jacobs- "I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me!"-Philippians 4:13

20 year old Roy is a student at Austin Community College where he is studying Audio Engineering. His love and interest for Technology came at a very young age.

While growing up he played the piano and worked in the Media Ministry at his father's church, Word of Life C.O.G.I.C in Lakewood, WA.

Truly, the Lord has had his hand on this young man and has blessed everything that he has put his hand on.

Roy's goals are to own his own Christian Record Label and be an advocate for Christian youth everywhere.

Ephesians 2:10 states "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." This is what Roy strives to do in his everyday walk with God.


John "Troy" Jacobs- "Blessed of the Lord and Highly Favored to prosper now!"

Troy is a 20 year old student and Texas State University where he is studying Business Marketing.

He has been singing since the tender age of 4 and developed an interest in writing songs at the age of 10.

Praise is who he is and blessings are what he receives as he expresses his thanks to the Lord in song!

Troy's goals are to graduate from college and develop a corporation that combines music and business! I John 4:4b states "Greater is he that is in you, then he that is in the World!"

Troy stands on that word and believes that with God all things are possible!

Our mission is to Double Portion, "Reach the Lost and the Un-Churched with the inspirational message of hope, love, joy, peace, and salvation!" 2 Kings 2:9
