By limiting themselves to the boundaries of a guitar / vocal format, Double Take developed a style of presenting music through minimalist arrangements.
Roger takes responsibility for the entire music accompaniment by juggling bass lines, chords, melodic lines, and percussive bits all on one guitar.
Providing just enough support to highlight Mia's rich, breathy and inviting voice.
Their ability to enhance each other's performance without intruding is what a successful musical partnership is all about.
With music ranging from jazz standards to pop ballads, familiar tunes to original compositions, Double Take provides a refreshing break to all listeners by presenting music in it's purest and most intimate form.
The album consists of 12 tracks, 5 guitar solos and 7 duos. It will be a combination of 2 Malay, 1 Tagalog (tribute to Mia's Filipino heritage) and 4 English songs in which 6 are originals.
Three songs were arranged with some additional accompaniment to add variety to the album.

A Must Have Album

Came across this album when I was looking for 'Dahil Sayo' soundtrack in the internet. Bought it, love it and have enjoyed listening to it with friends. Mia's voice is rich and captivating and Roger's fingerstyle crisp acoustic arrangements are fantastically soothing.
