IF you like David Gray, Matchbox, Train... mixed in with some Clapton...you'll probably like this CD.

One Track "Blue Room" is in the Universal Pictures Film One True Thing. It's a Meryl Streep movie with Renee Zellweger and William Hurt. Doug's playing the song in the Bar Scene with Renee.

Who's making the Music?

Mostly it's:
Doug Allen - lead vocals, lead & rhythm guitars
Doug Grober - Drums
Freeland Shreve - Bass
Joe Saunders - Percussion/spiritual advisor
T-Bone Stone - Keys, backing vocals

...With a handful of known and unknown session players sitting in. Liberty DeVitto (Drummer of Billy Joel) plays on one track on the album.

Band Notes:

Joe Saunders has been playing with Doug the longest. In fact doug invited Joe up on stage at the Bitter End in NYC for one of Joe's first gigs. He's great to watch live He spent some time managing Simon Townsend a fanominal singer/songwriter(Pete's youngest brother), and toured with the Who a bit.

Freeland is a neat guy. Just graduated from the NYU film program where he made a number of short films prior to his full length feature, which he intends to shoot in Cuba this fall. Good bass player with cool fills a la John Entwistle.

Doug Grober:
Did well in the music biz with his previous band Thrill Cat. They were on the road in the midwest and Mountain States with air play and a growing fan base til the label went under. He brings his experience and solid chops to the band.

The other guys on the CD play with us from time to time.
