Album Notes

Doug Andrews hales from the great state of Wyoming. Although born and raised there, he has bounced around the globe a bit since his high school days. Trained formally as a classical singer, Andrews is now focused on his career as a singer/songwriter and largely self-taught guitarist. “Absaraka Runoff” is his first and, currently, only album which he recorded on his own in a small cabin at the base of the Bighorn Mountains also in his home state. All of the songs on his album were largely written and recorded in a six-week period in the winter of 2008. Raw and personal, “Absaraka Runoff” is the first of hopefully many more to come.
