I began playing the piano & writing songs at the age of 5. When I was 12, I got my first guitar. Four years later at the age of 16, I joined my high school jazz band, got bitten by the "jazz bug," and became a lifelong improvisation addict.


After many years of "payin' dues" on the local scene in Dallas, and 6 years studying the art & science of recording, I would like to offer the following CD for your enjoyment.

'Spinning Into Control' is the opposite of what used to happen in my life; one of the benefits of getting older, I suppose. It is the closest I have come to capturing the vibe of my live playing and hopefully the promise of even greater things to come. Special thanks to Jimmy George for pushing my buttons and getting me to this point.
