I've been listening to Doug since I was 16. His keyboard skills and rich vocals never fail to amaze me. This genre, sort of a compound mix of dark traditional blues/gospel is one of my favorites. The guitar tracks and percussion here are equally hypnotizing... (When I play Doug's music for my New Mexican friends, they sometimes say "are you sure that's a white man?"...
