This album brings me back to the days of college and Bible camp counseling in Iowa where I first heard Doug Howell\'s music.  At that time in my life almost everything focused on myself...am I studying the right things, will I find a significant other for my life, will I make it in the working world?  But the album does not leave me there in reminiscing about the past it also speaks to me today as a middle-aged man with different responsiblities:  a spouse, bills, two boys in college and a girl going through her early teens, and retirement looming in the not too distant future.  To know that there is a God who cares for me in my current roles as caregiver is just as important as it was back when my life revolved much more around myself.  The music continues to speak to me, perhaps in a bit different way but still as clearly.  Thanks Doug!

I was listening to my old worn out album when I decided to check the internet for information on Doug Howell.  I was thrilled to not only find information on Doug but also the availability of his albums.  Now that I have received the cd I am very please with the quality.  It sounds so much better than I ever remembered it.  Thanks to Doug and to CDBaby for making this wonderful, heartfelt album available once again!
