Strong songs on Big Lucky
South Of Alone is rocking, Old Song shows a cajun influence, and Didn't Come Back is a beautiful Americana song.....

Big Lucky
this is an excellent cd with a variety of country, blues and rock elements. The ballads particularly exude a lot of warmth. Could the untied shoes be a metaphor for lost keys?

Like hanging with old friends
... yes, this album feels that comfortable. As Eli said, there is something for everyone on this CD. The melodies and lyrics are great and the music is the best. Curl up with someone you love, pour a drink and enjoy this disc -- it's a great album! Thanks for sharing your music with us, Matt!

Douglass Gets It
No Stone Unturned...except maybe this one! In Big Lucky, Matt has a message and a melody for pretty much everybody. When was the last time you heard a record that was honest yet entertaining? Never? Now you can. Way to go, Matt.
