Album Notes

Milwaukee area man releases Packer song “Thompson’s Prison Blues” Justin Douglass is a Milwaukee area singer/songwriter and a frustrated Green Bay Packer fan. In the ongoing feud between the Packer faithful, he takes the position that the release of Brett Favre was one of many foolish personnel decisions made by the Packer organization and the most glaring mistake in light of the Vikings recent success with Farve as their quarterback. While still a Packer fan, he is not a fan of current Packer management team Ted Thompson, Mike McCarthy, and Mark Murphy, and wrote the song “Thompson’s Prison Blues” with the help of his wife Linda as a response to this sorry situation. The song is meant to give legs to the growing movement of Packer fans torn between blindly following Packer brass and their current course of action, and those who look forward to a future beyond “Thompson’s Prison”.
