Album Notes

Doug is a rock/pop recording artist whose voice and guitar have been heard by millions in national cinema multiplexes (including Regal and United Artist theaters), on commercial airlines (including United and TED) and on film.

A trained classical guitarist growing up in Washington D.C., Doug's musical direction took a sharp turn with the influence of rock and pop culture. For six years, Doug honed his chops playing and singing in D.C. rock bands, including Rainbow (not to be confused with Ritchie Blackmore's), Spyce and Empire. Doug's east-coast following stemmed from his quintessential pop/rock voice, distinctive guitar playing and irresistible songs.

Today, Doug lives in Los Angeles, where he pursues his passion for writing and recording music. His new CD combines addictive pop hooks with echoes of late 60s psychedelia, in the framework of contemporary, modern rock.
