ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Doug Prescott, currently of the band Rain Dance (www.rain-dance.net), released this solo CD in 1996 as a review of the range of his material, with special guest appearances on the album by Jesse Winchester (The Island), and Mainstreet (Jackhammer Love), his band at the time this was released. This project was a tribute to a major influence in his musical development, Mr. Lowell George, who produced an unbelievable body of work. His legacy lives on. Thank you Lowell for what you gave us in your short time on this planet. This album is a logical progression into Prescott's current band, Rain Dance, mixing influences from George and Little Feat, to Dire Straits, Doobies, Grateful Dead, Allman Bros, and many others. Enjoy.
