Doug Sinning wrote and recorded these songs in the late 80s when he was still at Berklee College of Music, but he never had the opportunity until now to release them.

Although the recorded sound is very 80s dated, the lyrics themselves are strong and have a timeless value that many people relate to.

Doug wrote "Time" and "Cold-Blooded" after a particularly painful breakup, but then wrote "Curiosity" after finding new love.

"Panther in the Night" is actually a song about AIDS. AIDS was just "discovered" in the 80s, and was all over the television news while Doug was still in college, and he was moved to write a song about it.
