The songs are from the World of The Whistling Pig, warm magical tales that stimulate the imagination and entice learning. The Whistling Pig is the main character in the Tales of the Gullywhumpus, a series of stories involving a community of characters who live in the Smallish Woods together.

The creators are Doug & Bobbie Stuart. Dr. Doug, a Ph.D. in English linguistics, is a writer of songs and stories, a singer, and a performer on various folk instruments. He guides children of all ages in playful exploration of words and meanings. Bobbie, with a Masters Degree in arts education, is an artist and teacher who developed and now illustrates the Whistling Pig and all his friends. She is a specialist in guiding students into the realm of imagination, and also is a well-known meditation teacher. Together they have lived in many lands, working with language and art to create cultural connections. They have four children and two grandchildren, and they love to inspire everyone to be all they can imagine themselves to be!
