Doug started playing at age 14. Being raised on a diet of heavymetal/rock it was only natural to become obsessed with virtuoso techniques of his hero`s.Guys like Lynch,Sykes,Malmsteen,Gilbert,M.Schenker,satriani etc.. You can clearly hear the wide range of rock/metal influences in his playing and songwriting . Fans of instumental rock guitar should definitely check this guy out!!
