ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Downtown Ramblers is a bluegrass band from Gothenburg, Sweden. Their music is based on traditional bluegrass but it has influences from all kind of music: Swedish folk music, jazz and pop music. This blend adds up in something that could be referred to as urban bluegrass.

The band was formed spring 2006 but their breaking point came the fall 2007 when they attended and won the Swedish Bluegrass Championship. Since then they have been playing at several of the Swedish country and bluegrass festivals as well as bars, clubs and cafes around the country.

With the new record just out, they will keep on touring in Sweden and other parts of the world as much as possible.

Emelie Junsten - Lead vocals
Oskar Reuter - Mandolin, harmony vocals
Pär Eriksson - Guitar, harmony vocals
Martin Blomberg - Banjo
Kalle Annerhult - Double bass
