I had never heard of these guys until a month ago. My girlfriend and I were driving back from a dance in Reading, Pa. that turned out to be very disappointing. Someone had given us a tip to stop at this small out of the way place bar. We got inside and it was like something from a 1950’s movie- the band was wailing rockabilly and people were swing dancing over every square inch of dance floor. We had such a great time that I had to order this CD by Dibbs Preston and the Detonators. The CD is a little more country than what we heard that night but great nevertheless. The first cut, Quit This Big Old Town, is a real butt-kicker and great to dance to.
