Born in Los Angeles, David Patterson learned the "A.B.C.'s" of musicianship early on, listening to and absorbing the art of Adderly, Bird and Coltrane, then later on, Grover Washington Jr., Gerald Albright and David Sandborn.

David's passion for the saxophone has allowed him to make a living as a musician for over fifteen years from performing at LA's finest restaurants, clubs and festivals with Local Artists such as Indeya, Sean Franks and Linda Taylor to a Grammy Winning recording session with Recording Artist Etta James.

David is a dynamic and versatile saxophonist known for his powerful and soulful approach. His lengthy credits include performing with Super stars such as: The Temptations, The Platters, Craig T.Cooper, Lala Hathaway, Miki Howard and Billie Preston...just to name a few.

David also had a national release Smooth Jazz CD "That Attitude" courtesy of Valley Vue records. And has currently put the finising touches on his new CD "A Reason 2 Blow" produced by LA's top producer Craig T.Cooper. This album features sterling performances by LA's finest musicians such as: Craig T.Cooper, Eddie Miller, Kevin Toney, Keith Rouster, Cedric Anderson, Royce Pilgrim, Ian Martin, Del Atkins, Cory Mason, Donnell Spensor, William Bryant and Timbali.
