Album Notes

After two albums: Garo Jazz Trio (released in 2000) and Virus 5.95 (released in 1995), Damien Poupart Taussat gives vent to his emotions in his new solo album: Graf Zeppelin.

This composer expresses his talent as a pianist with discretion. His music has a soul: superb, simple harmony, a subtle blend and expectation at the heart of graceful and dreamy melodies.

It is an evocation of well defined emotions and sensitivity which inspires us to travel: beautiful landscapes, joyful encounters, memories recalled and dreams without end.
He had long set his heart on this album, and the effort spent on the improvisation of certain pieces reflects a desire to shave, with close friends and the public.
That is why, Damien Poupart Taussat is, able, thought this CD to reach out beyond our senses and our sensitivity.
