I have More Than You is from the upcoming full length record "That Hideous Strength". The remaining two tracks are unreleased songs from 2005 and 2006. Recorded at Lunar Park Recordings.
Dragging The Mule is the project of former Dogpile frontman William Paul Adams and Dogpile guitarist Trevor Black. Bassist Catherine Phillips (Unheimlich Manoeuvre ) covers the bottom end.
This three track disc, the fourth release from Dragging The Mule is slow, reflective and covers a lot of musical terrain. I Have More Than You has a heavy synth bass underscoring droning guitar feedback. Hardliners is an instrumental track recorded in 2005 and reminiscent of current Tim Hecker. The final track The Redeemer, inspired by the John Brunner novel Sheep Look Up pounds the point home with a jagged guitar riff and disconnected vocals.
Stay tuned for a remix disc that will include two different versions of the title track.
