Ace Frehley: Guitar player; Futurist; Party Animal.
Born sometime in the future, transmuted physically to somewhere in New York sometime in the 1950’s, Ace evolved into the lead guitar player and resident professor of chaos in the human rock band KISS. They gave much pleasure to many earthlings. And the songs, when combined with tales of excess and insanity ‘on the road’, helped to convince many that Ace had become a Guru of the Art. Some even elevated him to the level of RockGod!!!
So it was that Ace would eventually leave the band and pursue his own divine creations. Evolution continued.
For the moment we are considering the songs that made the Space Ace known to the planet. Who knows, we might chronicle some of his later exploits.
But that is another story…
Dream Sequence
are:
Scott Seymour – all drums, most bass, rhythm and lead guitar, arrangements, and instigation of this project.
vhee – harmony guitars, a bit of rhythm and bass, all vocals, mixing and artwork.
Michelle Le Mesurier – management, funding, essentials for life, criticism and kudos, faith (in us) and a sense of adventure.
This album was recorded from 07/01/07 to 18/04/07 (Tasmanian time) as a project to test our gear and ourselves, using a Roland BR1600 desk, Ibanez guitars, a Jackson bass, Maton Folk-150 12-string, Zoom drum kit (yep!). Vocal therapy by J. Daniels, J. Beam and J. Walker.
