Dark, abrasive, and disturbing, this one-album project is the product of a time of raw, turbulent questioning in the life of it's creator. Recorded from 1994-1997, this album was originally released on cassette in 1998, as Nepenthacea's first release. The CD version contains cleaned-up and extended mixes of the original tracks, as well as two tracks not appearing on the cassette release (one of which is a unique version of "Machines' Song," totally reworked and remixed by Collision Sect).
The music could be described as postindustrial darkambient with noise elements...
"Loose-fitting night sweats sloptuned to tweak a nerve..." -CHC (Neozine)
