I firmly believe that if these conversations were being shared around the dining tables, in the kitchens, on sofas, at the country front-porches and the big city stoops, we could breathe deeper and we would be happier. Our children would not be so lost that they search in gangs for places to belong, not would they seek identity in the ownership of guns and the vocabulary of vulgarity.
