Album Notes
Drew Jacobs is a "Funny Folker" . With two CD's receiving national airplay and a new one schedule for Spring 2014, Drew focuses on the things that make us laugh: relationships, modern society and life as a babyboomer.
"If 50's the New 30" is based on real life experiences that "people of a certain age" can all relate to.
"Strip Club Christmas Eve" features 'extensive research' of both Strip Clubs and Christmas Eve. "Anything for art", Drew is quoted as saying.
Drew's first CD "Easy Listening For The Hard of Hearing" has been extensively featured on Sirrius/XM's Laugh USA with "Fortune Cookie" and "Five Whys" in heavy rotation.
The title track of "I'm Allergic To My Job!", Drew's second CD won 1st Prize in the Comedy Division of the International USA Songwriting Contest in 2011. Both CD's feature versions of "Rudolph's On Steroids", a holiday classic and "ELFTHOH" also features "Where Are All The Songs About Chanukah?" for our chosen friends.
Drew performs across the Northeast and has also showcased at SXSW in Austin Texas, and festivals in Colorado, New Jersey and New York.
