Album Notes

Thanks for checking out my music. All I can say is every person I've given this CD to has purchased another one. There's singer/songwriter stuff w/just me & a guitar, some blues tunes, & even a Zydeco trac with Horace Trahan. I guess there is definately a Cajun feel to the whole thing being that I'm from Southwest Louisiana. You can definately tell I listen to a lot of Leadbelly, Woodie Guthrie, & Jimmie Rogers.
Last year (2003) I was helping my friend out as roadie . So,in the middle of a 40 city tour with Hank3 he had to get back to the court house in Texas for a day. So I played my first show in front of a pretty good Chapel Hill crowd. I figured if they liked my music & did't boo me off the stage- I'd better get a CD done.I had the good fortune of having some really talented pickers in Honky-Tonk, Cajun, Zydeco, & Blues backgrounds to help me record the album. They're 17 songs here(an hour of music). If you don't like it I'll give you your money back.
I really hate typing & don't spell that well, but hopefully I have convinced you to buy the Disc. If you like country, blues, or folk... funny, happy, & sad well written songs..This is for you. Let me know what you think good or bad. And,If you can make it, I'll be playing the Prison Rodeo October 10, 2004 at the Louisiana State Penn (Angola, La).
