Album Notes

No More Waiting is a self-produced CD release from Drew Vics, a New Jersey based singer/songwriter. Drew has been writing and recording since the early 90's. No More Waiting marks the first collection of songs made available on CD or for download to a wider audience through CDBaby.

No More Waiting was recorded and produced in a digital home studio, with two other musicians sitting in on a couple of the tracks. Many of the songs are reminiscent of artists like Tom Petty and Fastball (some have even said Blues Traveler), but with a distinct blend of country and rock similar to Keith Urban, and a progressive edge which lends an original, dynamic quality to catchy melodies and clever, poignant lyrics.

Drew performs guitars, bass, keyboards, percussion and vocals, and also arranged and programmed the drum sequences. Additional keyboard and piano work appears on the tracks Far Away and Sorry, performed by Drew's long-time friend and musical collaborator John Frawley. Guitarist Jay Baney sits in on some rhythm and lead work in the track So Right.

Drew's songs have appeared on radio, a northern New Jersey compilation entitled Local Color, and on various podcasts online. He is working on new material for a future CD release. Date is yet to be determined.

I have been listening to Drew's music for years, his live performance is just as good as his studio work. Far away is my favorite, I can't pin point what the song does for me, but it's great. Keep rocking Drew!

Great guitar and vocals.
author: Andrew and Norma Vics
Great guitar and poignant vocals. Drew seems to be very comfortable with his music which shows in his relaxed vocal style. His music has an easy flow and some nice special effects. In Forty Winks the talk box adds almost a steel guitar sound. Finishes up with our favorite, Far Away
