Dr. Mac is Don R. MacMannis, Ph.D., a noted child psychologist, award-winning songwriter, and music director of Jay Jay the Jet Plane, the hit PBS animated series for children. Since 1981, he also has been executive co-director of the Family Therapy Institute of Santa Barbara, CA. Dr. Mac's friends include co-producer Brian Mann, teacher Debbie M. O'Neal, and a fabulous group of young singers.
