Great new "old school" funk

Klymaxx alumnus Cheryl Cooley and her new band Aseelah deliver a great sound on this debut CD. The CD is a very welcome return to the old school sound for those tired of today's hip hop R&B. Even the rap that is present on the song "Keep On Givin' It To Me" is refreshing in its old school sound. The CD successfully blends classic eighties funk with enough of a contemporary touch to keep it from sounding too dated. The only thing is it's short - you definitely will want more from them when the CD is over and that's a good thing.
