Companion to the dr mastermind plus captured live cd this DVD is a fiull length concert featuring Matthew T Mccourt, guitarist Kurt James and drummer Deen Castronovo(Ozzy, Bad English, Journey) and is the only show that the band did with this lineup before Deen joined Tony Macalpine .
Live at Starry night is chock full of shredding displays of guitar histrionincs, drum fills and solos, and free form jjamming- a rarity in these days of pre fab concerts.
Joining the band is Mayhem/Posion idea bassist Craig Lower freeing up mccourt to prance about in his spike gear ,occasionally jumping on the small trampoline that had made its way onto the stage.al of the songs that appear on the captured livce portion of the cd are here in full color. Shot by Portland video archivist Lou Kat following the action . also included are videos of the 1999 lineup that has Malice drummer Pete Laufman and strongman guitarist Michael Brown continuous 4 -6 cam live footage
Opening tour dates for Great White and Dio and it\'s a great documentation of this trio with mccourt on bass there are also a few \"produced music videos\" from the King of the world album and one from Monkey Fur another band matt has directed and produced several concept vids for.
