REVIEWS

deep groove+midwest roots+heart and soul= D-ROME & BIG ARTIST
author: Matt Kane
The midwest has a little bit of everything: the east, west, north and south. When mixed with the indiginous feeling of the local vibe you get cats like d-rome and big artist. I've been watching them develop for a few years and their strengths are many. The main one being that they are unique. Where else are you gonna hear something like "potatoes and steak"? Nowhere. The midwest has produced heavyweight artists for years and these cats are the proof that the tradition continues. -matt kane, NYC
