Drought was formed in 2001 by Houston natives Mike and Shannon Mikulas with a vision of attacking the Texas rock scene. Great song writing and an intense live show has brought them the regional attention they deserve. With the recent additions of drummer Bobby Sheehan and guitarist Taz, Drought is poised to take their act worldwide.
Drought has a professional 11 song release called "Untapped" produced by Todd Taz Anthony(producer, mixer, engineer of Bang Tango, Dirty Looks, Spinning Chain) and mastered by Anthony Focx(producer, mixer, engineer of Aerosmith, Buck Cherry, Ace Frehley). Drought "Untapped" is currently available digitally worldwide through Itunes, CD Baby, Amazon.com and many more.
Drought has toured regionally and has supported various national acts. They have also worked with BoDog Productions in conjunction with Fuse tv and has been active in the community through the "School House Rock" program promoting music education for children.
