ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jazz Nothin But Soul is a cross genre musical project that expresses the multi-faceted life and times of Dr. Terence Elliott, musician, composer and educator. Dr. Elliot has traveled and world exploring culture and creative expression. This CD is his second solo project by Terence. His last CD The Professor was filled with original songs. This second project is a contiuation of that expression.

The fourteen selections on the CD are cross-generational and meant to bring young and old together with rhythmical sounds of jazz, blues, funk, r&b and hip-hop. It is the hope of the artist to use his music as a way to bring community together. Each song has its own particular "cycle of life" journey of love, pain, hope, joy, change and understanding.
