Bruce Burgess recently teamed up with Seattle percussionists Arturo Rodriguez, Marco Zonka & movie composer Kevin Christensen for "Drum Dynasty". Drum Dynasty is a cutting edge drum CD that showcases advanced odd measure drum compositions meshed with worldly techno music. This self titled double CD explores African, Algerian, Haitian, Greek, & Arabic rhythms with hints of Yanvanlou, Masmoudi, Adowa, Hemiola, & Santeria along the way. Drum Dynasty is a must gem for any high-end drummer, but can take anyone down the primal path of indigenous drumming & intense world rhythms. Seattle Mixer Sam Hofstedt of Studio-X who has worked with the likes of The Seattle Orchestra, Pearl Jam, & R.E.M mixed the entire Double CD set.
