Welcome to the slightly twisted mind of Druu.
Druu, a Southern California songwriter/producer who has written for Grammy nominated recording artists, couldn't help but step in front of the mic to spit out some pointed political satire and sexy humor during the 2004 election season.
Starting with the thought that the man in the White House seems to have been named after a patch of pubic hair, "Get Rid of Your Bush" combines chunky beats, fistfuls of satire and opinion and a few little pubic references to create a funky and funny Alternative Hip-Hop anthem for the half of Americans who stood up and voted for political change in 2004.
Also included on the CD is the Weapons of Mass Destruction Remix of "Get Rid of Your Bush" with its darker, grungier groove and reminders of the big manipulation (lie?) that pushed our nation to war in Iraq. Both the original and remix versions of "Get Rid of Your Bush" are anchored by head-bobbin' beats, so as a bonus, instrumental tracks of both versions round out the CD.
Well, we didn't manage to get rid of our Bush in November of 2004, but if you find yourself in need of a few laughs and beats during these next four years you can always shake your butt to a little "Get Rid of Your Bush."
Plus, the instrumental mix of "Get Rid of Your Bush" is in the soundtracks to MTV's 'Yo Momma' and Court TV's 'LA Forensics' and is featured in Import Entertainment's import car scene DVD 'The Crazy Bikini Show'.

Great song for you non voters of the past election

Well what can I say, Bush is in office and hopefully not for another 4 more years. I don't agree with his politics but this song brings a smile to my face. Talk about a hip beat, a solid hook, and great lyrics all wrapped up into a neat little package. 'Get Rid of your Bush' rocks the house!!
