"DSR is Daniel Severin Rafn, a 24-year-old Salem [Oregon] musician who has put together one of the most textured, lush albums to cross my desk in a long time...
'Vocals' is a remarkable album, deep and accessible. Each listen reveals another layer of sound, though initially the songs sound very simple. Highly recommended." --Oregon Music Guide, omguide.com
"Daniel Severin Rafn's music is dreamy bedroom pop at its best...
the melodies are catchy -- they'll linger in your head for the rest of the day...an unexpected, unassuming pleasure from beginning to end." -- Ron Davies, Splendid, splendidezine.com
"...stunning debut from one Daniel Severin Rafn. Rafn, the occasional guitarist for those molecularly redesigned beings known as Anbot Rodroid, has been working on his pet project in one form or another for the past eight years...
Every aspect of the recording has been scrutinized under Rafn's hypersensitive microscope." --Salem Monthly

I love Daniel's music. I hope that he keeps it coming. I've been having everyone I know listen to this album, and so far everyone's really really enjoyed it. I'm no music reviewer, I can't put this stuff into words. If you like music, you'll like Vocals.

Great pop songwriting

This CD is magical. The vocals are pretty and disarming and the production is crisp and clear. I especially love the first song and Tragicrush, which is exceptionally catchy.
