Songwriter/Musician, Dave S. is native to the Los Angeles, California area, where he has enjoyed several years of making music loved by many.
Dave is an up-and-coming solo-artist, and has collaborated with local and national recording artists. Most recently, he played bass and lead guitar in 'Lapis', a classic/alternative Rock and Pop band. Lapis has performed shows throughout California for over 10 years, until disbanding in 2001. Previously, Dave was the keyboardist, and later guitarist, for 'Slow Thunder', a mystical Country & Western/Rock band with a wide variety of influences. He was also bassist for 'Clean Trash', a Grunge/New Metal band.
In addition to these bands, many other bands, musicians, and artists have called upon Dave to write, record and play shows with them. Some of Dave's material has aired repeatedly on MTV's Road Rules, TBS Superstation and other cable networks. He has other songwriting and recording deals as well.
The release of his latest solo CD entitled 'Sky of Change' is evidence of great versitility and creativity. You'll find a wide variety of Instrumentals ranging from Hard Rock to Pop and Alternative to Semi-Accoustic, sometimes within the same song. These songs will spark your emotions, please your ears, and generate curiosity.
