Donald Woodard (A.K.A.-D-Trump) represents a new flavor in rap/hip-hop music.

Having grown up in Oakland, CA, (home to Bay Area natives, Too $hort, M.C. Hammer, The Luniz and Digital Underground), D~Trump's music is a product of the tough streets of Oakland, CA, combining the raw, uncut style of the ghetto with enlightened, palatable messages of self-help and empowerment.

Although violence has been strongly associated with rap and hip/hop, it does not necessarily represent the music culture exemplified in D~Trump's music.

"I am trying to change the perception that hip hop is negative and promote positive outcomes to important issues facing today?s youth and their communities." Explains Trump.

D-Trump's style is unlike some of the rappers who dominated the 90s with gangsta rap.

Trump states, "It's not about material possessions and designer clothing." Trump's debut CD, entitled, D~Trump, on Entroprenuer Entertainment, features 6 tracks with musical styles ranging from R&B, Dance/Techno to Hip-Hop and Rap.

The CD is produced by Sean "The Philosopher" Wilburn from Entroprenuer Studios in Oakland, California and co-produced by award winning, Chicago born Mark Roofe of M-5 Studios in Miami whose audio engineering and editing credits for the The Box video program include, Heavy D, Madonna, Keith Sweat and Salt & Pepa.

Prior to writing and recording his debut release, D~Trump spent 3 ½ years in Sydney, Australia where he worked as a model represented by Typecast, Inc talent agency.

He has been in Coca-Cola and Sprite commercials featured during NBA playoffs.

D-Trump has performed live shows for Moonlight Productions, Inc.

throughout San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Sydney, Australia and modeled on catwalks for Smirnoff Design show.
