BEEK was recorded over a marathon 24 hour session. All of the instruments were recorded in one take, inbetween the consumtion of alcohol. The vocals took a few extra takes. Oh, and of course, there were the multiple tracks of fart noises. It's really not as bad as it sounds. "This is what you guys have been working on? You're just wasting your time." --Matt's mom. The first time I heard this album it felt as if a nuclear bomb had been dropped on my soul. The simple brilliance of songs like "Q-Tip" and "Bela Lugosi" stomped on my heart and set my mind free.
