Album Notes

Since it's conception in 2004, DubbleStuff has been writing, arranging, and performing original music in and around the Greater Rochester area. DubbleStuff has continued modernizing the world of improvised music with their own unique sound, fusing the timelessness of jazz with a fresh breed of contemporary funk and fusion styles.
Based out of Rochester, New York, DubbleStuff consists of trombonist Nick Finzer, saxophonist Tyler Gauldin, bassist Michael Kujawski, pianist Chris Ziemba, and drummer Brian Heveron-Smith; all of whom attend the Eastman School of Music.
DubbleStuff has appeared at local coffee shops including Java's (on Gibbs street), Spot Coffee, The Flat Iron Cafe, Earthtones, Fedele's Bakery and Cafe, Fairport Village Coffee, and Higher Grounds (Buffalo, NY.) DubbleStuff has also performed at the 2006 Park Avenue Festival on the Main Stage, The 2006 South Wedge Arts and Music festival, the Lyell Ave Festival, as well as for numerous art exhibitions and other community events. Other venues include Milestones, The Merchant Street Smoke House, and Keys Piano Bar.
DubbleStuff was also featured on Rochester’s Jazz 90.1’s live radio concert series, a one-hour live concert that aired on April 12, 2006.
The band’s discography now includes 3 self-released albums: “DubbleStuff”, “Live at the Flat Iron Café” and the band’s first full length album “This is What You Need”.
