notes
"DuBROCK ROCKS!"
-'No Name,' Radio Alice 97.3 FM San Francisco
"One of the great unsigned American bands"
-R.V. Scheide, North Bay Bohemian
"A Deft blend of precision chops and fluff-free, radio-friendly fare. The dozen tracks on DuBROCK are uniformly strong and dynamically varied."
-Mike Thomas, Pacific Sun
"DuBROCK has all the right moves for FM radio," says Ear Candy Magazine. But DuBROCK was formed around the premise that their songs-not their moves-are what the music should be about! Playing around bay area clubs like the Sweetwater Saloon, the band has just released its self-titled debut, which has already been dubbed a "tight yet breezy pop rock album full of soaring vocals and infectious hooks" (Ear Candy).
Vital statistics on the band members (like their favorite type of chocolate) can be found at www.dubrock.net.

A cool amalgam of Pearl Jam, Crowded House and Toad The Wet Sprocket
author: Drew PearceHow many records mix full-throttle rock songs ("Waiting"), Peter Gabriel-esque pop ("Into This Night"), Pearl Jam-ish ballads ("Beautiful") and Van Morrison-y acoustic jazz ("After The Water")? How many can make it blend so well? DuBrock is the rare rock band that starts with great songs and brings them to life with high-energy performances. Highly recommended.
Why are these guys not making millions?
author: Bryan SmithTruly catchy pop album here. Not a dog on the disc. DuBrock's not only got great hooks, but the guy has a fabulous voice: ranging from sweet and whimsical to empassioned and powerful. Witty and thoughtful lyrics round out a great effort. This album is in the top 10% of albums I've bought this year and I'd recommend it to anyone.
