I love Josh Duffy's cd "Artifical"  it has some amazing songs on it and I find myself listening to it constantly in the background when im surfing the web or in my car.  My favorite song is Front Row Ticket...I love it!!  It should be a ringtone on my cell phone!

This album blows me away. Josh is very talented and he has put out this wondeful CD. I love it.  

Josh has an incredibly beautiful voice.  It's hard to define his sound, but it is great. His music is so intricate and complicated. The melodies are memorable.  The harmonies are lush and so absolutely stunning. (He sings his own background vocals and they are intricately tight and gorgeous.)

His voice reminds me just a bit of the huskiness of John Mayers (except Josh's enunciation is better). I love how he slides into his crystal clear falsetto. That reminds me of Josh Groban and Five for Fighting. 

The words of of his songs are so powerful and expressive. He pours so much emotion into his songs. I hope at his young age, that his love life hasn't given him all of that emotion to draw upon. 

When I first get a CD, I sit with my eyes closed. The first time I listen, I concentrate on the words, the story, the emotion. Wow! Josh takes the listener on a journey. I had chills throughout the entire disc. 

The second time, I listen to the harmonies, the orchestrations, the rhythms, the meters, the key changes, the syncopation. The entire disc was beautiful, and the syncopation is so cool thruout the disc.

I was listenting with my eyes closed, and I thought, "Wow! I love the brass in that song." Then later I thought, "Is that flute?" I got the cover and looked. Yep! Yep! And the singer, songwriter is also the flutist/floutist. What an amazing talent!   

As I said, the harmonic intervals just amaze me. I love how "Here We Go Again" (Isn't there a Dolly Parton song that has that phrase?) has the 'classical' part toward the end. 

While I loved the entire disc, I would have to say my favorites tracks are (in no particular order) "What If Life" (exquisite layered complex vocals), "The Better Part of Me" (amazing harmonies), and "Truth". "Truth" has such a powerful message; a story so amazing, I think all listeners will identify with every word. 

Josh Duffy is a wonderfully amazing talent. He has been blessed with supreme talent and we are blessed he shares his music with us.

This Kid is the one to Watch! Every Song has a purpose and a place for today. Truth tells a story we all know, but could never explain. Luckily Josh Duffy does both for us. It's Independant Artist like these  that we must get behind and support. Thank you Josh for bringing your talent to me.

Josh has really shown his talent on this CD from writing the music to writing the lyrics and, of course, his vocal abilities.  This CD is absolutely, positively amazing.  Everyone should buy it because it RAWKS!!!
