Album Notes

The Duggs Trio played for over three years in New York City. The band is made up of Matt Douglas on alto sax, Sam Kassirer on Hammond organ, and Alex Epton on drums. Four of the tracks feature DJ Tim Sweeney. They have played venues such as Cornelia Street, Knitting Factory, The Parkside, The Lakeside Lounge, and Fat Cat. The trio has also played Oberlin College, Drexel University, NYU, and North Carolina. The artists in this band have gone on to do some other amazing projects. Sam Kassirer plays with the great songwriter Josh Ritter, Alex Epton (also known as Armani XXXChange) is a member of the hip-hop project called SpankRock, and Matt Douglas has his own indie rock project called The Proclivities.
