notes

The Duke University Music Exchange (DUME) was formed in the late 1990's by George Stetten to provide an outlet for popular musicians at Duke University. Their first CD, "Voices of DUME," contains a wide variety of original music representing many styles, the Greatest Hits You've Never Heard, each song-writer contributing
one "best song" to the collection.

The idea is to recognize the serious work that students and others at many universities put into popular music, usually without getting any academic credit. Proceeds will be used to support DUME and its further efforts to promote original music in the university scene.
